Koekenaap Bloekoms

These Eucaplyptus trees are in Koekenaap, close to Vredendal in the Northern Cape, about 30km from the West Coast of South Africa. The trees are not indigenous and are thus chopped down in South Africa to preserve and make way for indigenous plant life. While these trees are still alive and well I created a clear space around each - wishing that they could be sucked into a hole and transported into a place where they can grow and prosper.
